Inovasi Alat Dan Mesin Untuk Mengolah Pakan Ternak Kambing Rumah Petani Nelayan Nusantara (RPNN) Kabupaten Cilacap

Abstract

This community service was held on June 10, 2025, at Warung Ijo, Kesugihan District, Cilacap Regency, with approximately 70 goat farmers from the Rumah Petani Nelayan Nusantara (RPNN) Kesugihan District in attendance. The activity aimed to address the challenges of manually processing goat feed, which resulted in waste and inconsistent feed quality. The solution provided involved the introduction of technology, including feed grinding, mixing, pelletizing, and silage-making machines, to improve feed efficiency and quality. The activity also included practical training on the use of these machines, tailored to the needs of the farmers. Evaluation was carried out through direct observation and feedback from participants to assess the acceptance and application of the technology. The expected results include improved operational efficiency, reduced feed waste, and increased livestock productivity, which in turn can enhance farmers' welfare. It is hoped that this technology will have a long-term impact on the development of more efficient and sustainable goat farming in Cilacap Regency.
