Meningkatkan Pencegahan Bullying Melalui Edukasi dan Sosialisasi Kepada Siswa SD Negeri 86 Prabumulih di Desa Tanjung Menang

Abstract

Bullying is one of the problems that can affect students’ comfort, confidence, and social relationships at school. Therefore, efforts to prevent bullying need to be introduced to students from an early age. This activity aimed to increase students’ understanding of bullying and encourage them to take part in preventing bullying in the school environment. The activity was carried out through education and socialization for students of SD Negeri 86 Prabumulih in Tanjung Menang Village. The methods used included delivering material about the meaning, forms, impacts, and prevention of bullying, followed by interactive discussions and questions and answers with the students. The activity was designed in a simple and engaging way so that the material could be easily understood by elementary school students. The results of the activity showed that students gained a better understanding of bullying, including how to recognize bullying behavior, its negative impacts, and appropriate actions when experiencing or witnessing bullying. Through this activity, students were also encouraged to develop attitudes of mutual respect, empathy, and care toward their friends. Thus, education and socialization about bullying can be used as an initial effort to increase students’ awareness and support the creation of a safer and more comfortable school environment.
