PENDEKATAN FILOLOGI DALAM STUDI ISLAM
Abstract
As the last revealed religion, Islam has explored a relatively long historical path. Islam came with a very important mission, namely to validate God as a substance that must be worshiped. So, in this context the philological approach is an approach to the study of religion (Islam) which leads to its study of religious texts or sources to find out the culture and spirituality of the religion. According to the belief of philologists, aspects of the life and piety of a religion can almost entirely be known through impressions in texts or literature.
