Studies on fathering and prophetic parenting remain separate, with no synthesis linking them through compassion (rahmah).

Methods: Following PRISMA 2020, Google Scholar, SINTA, and Scopus were searched (2016–2025); 10 of 70 records were analysed by thematic synthesis.

Results: Four themes emerged: fathers as moral-religious role models, as affectionate and responsive figures, and as supporters of social-emotional development, plus enabling and constraining factors. Evidence for the first theme is mainly conceptual.

Novelty: Unlike previous reviews, this study integrates father involvement, rahmah-based prophetic parenting, and early childhood development, separating normative principles from empirical evidence in a conceptual framework for Indonesian Muslim families.

Conclusion: Rahmah bridges father involvement and prophetic parenting, but causal claims require longitudinal studies with validated instruments.
2026-06-01T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Warna https://jurnal.unugha.ac.id/index.php/warna/article/view/2094 Parentification in Children Aged 5–6 Years and Its Impact on Free Play and Exploration: A Systematic Literature Review 2026-11-01T14:13:23+07:00 Ziska Taufatun Nisah ziskataufatunnisa@student.upi.edu Roby Naufal Arzaqi robynaufal@upi.edu Naila Aqsha Addini nailaaqsha2@student.upi.edu Luthfiyah luthfiyah@student.upi.edu
Background: Parentification, in which children take on adult instrumental or emotional responsibilities, has mostly been studied in adolescents and adults; its consequences for young children’s play and exploration remain unclear.

Methods: Following PRISMA 2020, Scopus and Google Scholar were searched (2018–2025); 10 of 93 records were analysed by thematic synthesis.

Results: Parentification lies on a continuum: age-appropriate tasks supported independence and empathy, whereas intense or emotional demands were linked to psychological strain and lost childhood experiences. No empirical study measured it directly at age 5–6.

Novelty: Unlike previous reviews, this study links parentification with young children’s right to play, identifying concrete forms at age 5–6 and proposing a model of how they displace free play and exploration.

Conclusion: Excessive parentification likely reduces both the time and quality of play; direct empirical studies with young children are needed.
2026-11-01T08:24:42+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Warna https://jurnal.unugha.ac.id/index.php/warna/article/view/2093 The Effect of the Sinar Memancar Game Medium on the Dance Movement Ability of Children Aged 4–5 Years 2026-11-01T14:13:26+07:00 Heri Hidayat herihidayat@uinsgd.ac.id Cindy Nidaul Hasanah cindynidaul30@gmail.com Sabrina Putri Salsabila sabrinasalsabila155@gmail.com Syahla Alya Rachma rachmasyahla04@gmail.com Fadilla Ayuningtyas fadillaayuningtyas@uinsgd.ac.id
Background: Dance supports young children’s gross motor development and artistic expression, but dance learning often lacks innovative, play-based media. This study examined the effect of the Sinar Memancar game medium on dance movement ability.

Methods: A one-group pretest–posttest design involved all nine children aged 4–5 years in Group A of PAUD Nurul Amal, Bandung, assessed with a valid nine-item observation checklist (reliability = 0.93).

Results: Mean scores rose from 21.67 to 25.22 (gain 3.56; 95% CI [1.52, 5.59]); t(8) = 4.02, p = .004, Cohen’s d = 1.34. Eight of nine children improved in rhythm, coordination, flexibility, and confidence.

Novelty: This study introduces the Sinar Memancar game medium, which embeds dance learning in a music-and-visual movement game, and evaluates it with effect sizes and individual-level change.

Conclusion: The medium is a promising alternative for early childhood dance learning; controlled studies with larger samples are needed.
2026-06-01T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Warna https://jurnal.unugha.ac.id/index.php/warna/article/view/2033 Developing a Movement-and-Song Video to Stimulate the Gross Motor Skills of Children Aged 4–5 Years 2026-11-01T14:13:21+07:00 Nurhalimah nurhalimah0688@gmail.com Nasrul Umam nasrulumam@unugha.id Mei Khomsatun Nikmah meikhomsatunnikmah@gmail.com
Background: Gross motor skills underpin young children’s daily activities, yet gross motor learning in many early childhood settings remains monotonous and lacks engaging media.

Methods: Using the ADDIE research and development model at PAUD Asy-Syifa Bajing Kulon, Cilacap, a movement-and-song video was developed, validated by experts, and trialled with teachers and ten children aged 4–5 years.

Results: The video (opening, warm-up, core activity, cool-down) was rated very feasible by the material (84.3%) and media experts (88.3%) and very practical by teachers (92.8%) and in children’s responses (95%).

Novelty: The study offers a locally developed, theory-informed video that uses on-screen modelling as scaffolding and documents each ADDIE stage, so teachers can adapt it for routine gross motor learning.

Conclusion: The video is a feasible and practical alternative medium; its effectiveness should be tested in controlled studies.
2026-11-01T09:05:45+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Warna https://jurnal.unugha.ac.id/index.php/warna/article/view/1662 Stimulating Early Childhood Numeracy through a Modified Sunda Manda Game: A Classroom Action Research 2026-11-01T14:13:28+07:00 Marfungatin Mutoharoh mutoharohmarfungatin@gmail.com Separina Nazwa Putri Rianto separinanazwa@gmail.com Ainun Maulid Nabilla aainun779@gmail.com
Background: Numeracy is a foundation for later learning, yet early numeracy is often taught through verbal drills and worksheets that leave young children unenthusiastic.

Methods: Classroom action research (Kemmis and McTaggart) was conducted in two cycles with 15 children aged 5–6 years at RA Al-Hidayah, Kroya, Cilacap, using a five-indicator numeracy checklist and interviews.

Results: Class numeracy achievement rose from 28.9% in the pre-cycle to 56.4% in Cycle I and 82.6% in Cycle II, and children became more active and confident in counting independently.

Novelty: The study modifies the traditional Sunda Manda game with numbers, colours, and pictures integrated into Merdeka Curriculum themes, combining embodied movement and numeracy tasks in a culturally familiar format.

Conclusion: Modified Sunda Manda is a low-cost, culturally relevant alternative for stimulating early numeracy.
2026-06-01T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Warna
