PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA AUDIOVISUAL BERBASIS SPARKOL VIDEOSCRIBE UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN KARIR

Abstract

Many studens career decision making takes place in the school environment. Students have difficulty in making career decisions after completing school education. The aim of this research is to find out the effectiveness of audiovisual media improve career decision-making abilities.

The research and development procedure used in this study followed the 10-step research procedure described by Brog and Gall namely : research and information gathering, planning, preliminary product development, initial field trials, revision of test results, main product field tests, operational product revisions, operational trials, final product revisions and desimination and implementation. The results obtained from the Sparkol Videoscribe audiovisual media can be declared valid, it can be seen from the results of the media expert validation percentage of 91.6% in the appropriate category for use, the percentage of material expert validation results in 71.4% with the appropriate category for use, the percentage of linguistic expert validation results in 84 ,3% in the category suitable for use and the results of the percentage of product trials to students of 78.43%, 80.04% and 76.31% with categories suitable for use.

The results of the study indicate that career decision making is low before being given treatment. Based on the culculstion of thr pretest and postest showed that the results obtained were significant and there was an increase in the results of the pretest and posttest with the number of pretest being 39,88 and posttest being 45,23. So it csn be said that there was an increase before the treatmen was given and before the treatment was given. So it can be said that there is an affectiveness of classical guidance services using audiovisual media based on Sparkol Videoscribe at MA Raudlatul Huda Adipala.
